In Europe twice as many men as women start their own business, and in Denmark only one in four new businesses are founded by a woman. But why is entrepreneurship dominated by men, and how can we change this uneven status? In this new knowledge collection, the Danish Foundation for Entrepreneurship explores the gender gap in entrepreneurship and gives concrete recommendations on how to bridge the gap and create a more equal status between women and men in entrepreneurship and enterprising activity.
